HBBC Week 3

This is week 3 of the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge. The goals this week were:

  • Solid cross-training – Did okay here…
  • No days with 0 points like the previous weeks – Nope not so much
  • Beat Week 1 total of 56 points – Nope didn’t do this either

I knew these would be challenging goals with a work trip on Wednesday & Thursday, but I also knew this was exactly the motivation I need to encourage me to eat healthy while traveling.

Week 3: December 3 – 9

Saturday:

  • 15 Miles = 15 Points
  • OJ, banana, apple juice, turkey wrap w/avocado, lettuce, tomato (1 serving), pineapple, pasta w/eggplant (1 serving), tomatoes on caprese salad (1 serving) = 1 point
  • 30 minutes cleaning = 1 Point
  • Total Daily Points = 17

Sunday:

  • 17 Miles Biked = 5.6 Points
  • OJ x 2, banana, tortilla soup w/tomatoes and corn (3 servings), quesadilla w/spinach (1 serving) = 1 Points
  • Total Daily Points = 6.6

Monday:

  • 30 minutes elliptical = 3 Points
  • 40 minutes weight lifting, abs and stretching = 2 Points
  • OJ, Oatmeal w/blueberries & dried cherries (2 servings), banana, baked potato w/chili & veggies (1 serving), pineapple, cauliflower crust pizza w/tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach (3 servings) = 1 Point
  • Total Daily Points = 6 Points

Tuesday:

  • 6 miles = 6 Points
  • Banana, OJ, Oatmeal w/blueberries (1 serving), tortilla soup (1 serving), spinach quesadilla (1 serving), yogurt w/blueberries (1 serving), = 1 Point
  • Total Daily Points = 7 Points

Wednesday:

  • Cereal w/blackberries & banana (2 servings), orange, spinach = 0 Points
  • Total Daily Points = 0 Points

Thursday:

  • 7 miles = 7 Points
  • Banana = 0 Points

Friday:

  • 40 minute swim = 4 Points
  • Mixed fruit, pineapple, yogurt w/blueberries = 0 Points

Total Weekly Points = 47.6

  • Bonus Points = 4
  • Week 1 = 56.7
  • Week 2 = 49.6

Total Cumulative Points = 157.9

    Still a great week! Congrats on such high numbers! I’ve been getting the veggies every day, but if it weren’t for spinning classes my #’s would be pretty poor, as I’m only running about 20 miles/week right now. Love that it’s keeping me motivated to get cross training in!
