Bachelorette Fun!

Note: I was hoping to get a few more group pics before I posted this, but haven’t tracked them down yet and finally wanted to share my fun weekend!

Alicia’s getting married!!

Isn’t she adorable?!

We flew down to Jupiter, FL this weekend to celebrate this pretty little bride-to-be’s bachelorette weekend! I helped plan the festivities along with her awesome BFF from college, BJ.

BJ’s on the left, the Bride is on the right. The girl can ROCK a hat!

We have been planning the weekend since November, so we were beyond excited that everything went off without a hitch and Alicia had an amazing weekend with 11 of her closest girls.

The itinerary for the weekend (idea stolen from Julie’s blog):

After arriving on Thursday afternoon and grocery shopping and decorating the house…

…the 4 of us that were in town went to Tiki 52 to listen to some live music. We danced our little booties off to country music.

And to think…we were just getting started!

It was a pretty early night because we had to go to the airport to pick up Heather & Suzanne who flew in from Greenville after work.

Friday morning, after we got Nikki from the airport (and I ran tempo 6 miles), we went paddle boarding…which was AWESOME! It was windy, which made it tough, but we had a blast!

That’s me! (in need of some sun!)

The last few girls arrived soon after and we spent the rest of the afternoon soaking in the sun on the beach.

Later that evening, we had a blast getting ready (it was like college again!).

And eventually the van came and we headed out to Guanabana’s for dinner, then Square Grouper for some live music!

Before the night was over, we did some more dancing and had tons of laughs!

We had an awesome breakfast the next morning at the Lazy Loggerhead and then spent the entire day on the beach and at the pool.

When it was finally time to get ready Saturday evening, we got all dressed up and then showered Alicia with tons of  pretty surprises for her honeymoon before heading out for another night of fun!

Once again, our favorite van driver “Mick” came to pick us up to take us to Dirty Martini. Thanks to BJ’s sweet-talking when we were planning the party, we had VIP tables that were roped off next to the dance floor.

This meant we had our own personal dance space with bouncers that kept people out, unless we invited them in!

We ended the evening super late, but had an amazing time!

Unfortunately the next morning, flights departed starting at 10:30, so we had to get everyone packed up and off and head back to Greenville.

Needless to say, everyone is absolutely exhausted, but smiling as we think about all the fun celebrating the well-deserving bride-to-be! I can’t wait to see everyone again in 3 weeks for the wedding!

P.S. I am sure all the girls will appreciate that the really good pics from the weekend didn’t make the blog 😉
